Keith Blankenship, DDS

Dr. Blankenship is an Orthodontist who has practiced Dentistry for over 21 years. The quality and compassionate care you have come to expect from him and the office remains the central focus of the practice.  We treat all types of orthodontic complexities using braces and Invisalign.  Dr. Blankenship has trained in a full Invisalign Fellowship and can take care of you and your children’s needs.

Dr. Blankenship along with his wife April and daughter McKenna have moved to Palm Coast. He has four other children who have graduated and moved along in life.  He attended The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Microbiology, and continued to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, so he is definitely a Buckeye fan at heart!  He completed his orthodontic training at the Georgia School of Orthodontics. Dr. Blankenship has been active in the dental community since his professional start.  He has earned fellowships and accolades in dentistry.  In 2019, he published an article on his newly developed technique using mini-screws and rapid palatal expansion.  Previously as a general dentist, his experience also included teaching about Sleep Apnea and Dentistry, as well as CAD/CAM dentistry. With his experience and professionalism, Dr. Blankenship can appropriately coordinate care with your general dentist and any other specialist involved.  His main focus in the practice is the professional care and success of his patients.

Dr. Johnson

My greatest passion and personal devotion is to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in ministering His love to others through every area of life. Learn more about Jesus here.

ENJOY serving my community as an orthodontist! It offers me a wonderful opportunity to help people smile, improve their self-esteem and develop greater confidence. Having seven children myself, I greatly value the trust and confidence people place in me when they allow us to care for their family members.

As an orthodontist, I appreciate that no two people are alike: Each person presents their own unique situation, treatment needs, and personal goals. Working together with each patient we decide on a unique treatment approach that best meets their needs. I want each patient to finish with a breathtaking smile, and for it to be stable and functional, for life!

One of the best things about orthodontics is the excitement of my patients. I love that each person is enthusiastic to begin treatment and thrilled as they see their smiles brighten! My team and I celebrate every step of each patient’s progress, supporting and encouraging them as they achieve a smile they love.

I am committed to providing exceptional and individualized orthodontic care in an environment that exemplifies Christ’s love and is encouraging and fun.

Beyond the Practice

After growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the Pennsylvania “Dutch” country, I’ve lived in Flagler County since 1999. My wife Jill and I have seven children, some of whom are now adults and some still live at home with us.

When I’m not working, being with my family, including our Australian Shepherd, Mocha, is my priority. We have a cattle farm and I enjoy various projects associated with that. I also like fishing and hunting.

Martha

New Patient and Insurance Coordinator

I really enjoy working with people to improve their smiles. Everyone has different needs and goals and, due to the individualized care we offer, finishes with their best smile ... and has a great treatment experience, too!

I meet with new patients and families, explain the orthodontic process, and assist with the initial exam. I also review treatment and financial options, including insurance, and answer everyone’s questions. In addition, I trouble-shoot insurance matters, handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee day-to-day operations within the business office. I’ve worked with Dr. Johnson and our team since 1999. We are supportive and caring of each other and our patients!

I’m a Florida native, born and raised in Flagler County. My husband and I have been married more than 35 years and have two grown children and four grandchildren. When I’m not spoiling them, I enjoy the beach, fishing, and being with extended family.

Cheryl

Clinical Coordinator and State Certified Orthodontic Assistant

I really like participating in the transformation of our patients’ smiles. Watching someone gain confidence and become happier and more outgoing because of the work we do, is rewarding!

I ensure the clinical aspects of our office run smoothly. I assist the doctor with procedures and make sure our patients have an awesome experience. I work hard to make sure each person understands what’s happening with their treatment and that they enjoy every visit with us. I’ve worked in the field since 1981 and joined Johnson Orthodontics in 1999. Dr. Johnson and our staff are very caring people and fun to work with.

I’m a Florida native and have lived in Palm Coast since 1993. I love that I get to see so many people I know and love from the community here at the office! My husband and I have been married for 35 years and have two grown daughters. When I’m not spending time with them and their extended families, I enjoy traveling to places by near and far.

Shelly

State Certified Orthodontic Assistant and Certified Dental Radiographer

I most enjoy working with our patients and encouraging them on hygiene and elastic wear. I like helping them understand what a great smile they will have once treatment is complete!

I am a chairside assistant: I work alongside Dr. Johnson on a range of orthodontic procedures. While helping him, I’m also talking with our patient and making sure they’re comfortable in the chair. I started in the field in 1989 and joined Johnson Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Johnson is a kind and giving doctor who encourages us to be positive and uplifting.

I grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1990. I love the Florida weather! When I am not working, I like traveling and lots of outdoor activities, like bicycling and fishing. I especially enjoy the beach!

Jenna

Orthodontic Assistant

I enjoy being a part of making a difference in patients' lives by guaranteeing a beautiful smile and confidence!

I was once a patient here at Johnson Orthodontics and got to learn from the lovely assistants who are now my work family. I am a chairside assistant working with the Doctor on procedures, as well as taking x-rays and photographs for records.

I was born in St. Augustine and have loved being in Florida my whole life. A few things I enjoy while I have free time are taking my son to the park or beach, traveling, shopping, and visiting my family.

Susan

Orthodontic Assistant

I am passionate about helping Dr. Johnson improve our patients' confidence by giving them a beautiful and healthy smile through high quality orthodontic care!

Before I became an employee, my daughter was a patient here. The atmosphere at Johnson Orthodontics is truly unmatched and I was very excited when an opportunity arose for me to join this wonderful team. I started my dental career as a dental assistant in 1990. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a dental hygienist until moving to Florida in 2005.

I have been married for 25 years and have 3 children. I am active in the youth ministry at my church and enjoy spending time with my family, biking, kayaking, reading, and relaxing at the beach.
